Please note, Momentum Venues will not be operating at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Unfortuantely we are not accepting applications for the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and we will not be operating at St Stephen's.

We are still committed to providing quality theatre at the Fringe, so while we may not be present in 2016, we hope to be back in action in 2017.

The St Stephen’s complex offers three performances spaces of differing scales, geared at the highest calibre of fringe productions being offered in 2016. The three spaces are as follows:

Seats at Momentum: Grand
Seats at Momentum: Playhouse
Seats at Momentum: Studio

The St Stephen's Centre, formerly operated by Northern Stage, The Traverse and The Arches is now under new management - Momentum Venues - who after establishing themselves as a festival stronghold in 2015, are returning with a new and eclectic programme of theatre for the fringe.

Artistic Director David Hutchinson and Commercial Director Phillip Rowntree have produced over 20 shows at the Fringe and understand the importance of a strong venue/company relationship.

As part of Momentum Venues' season, presenting companies will be offered a proper get-in and fit-up period, as well as full support in marketing and promoting their productions so that our artists can focus on what they do best - creating top quality work.
